Seattle Birth Photography | Liana and Scott
This beautiful family is from Bellingham – and Seattle has been graced with their presence for the delivery of their third child; Freyja. As a birth photographer is hard not to get wrapped up in their anticipation and joy. Unlike other photography where you get to make an appointment; you are on-call. This means your phone is on your hip and you have to pass on the second glass of wine, you can’t leave the city and you think about it all the time. You worry you turned your ringer off on accident. You just worry and anticipate.
When the incredible moment comes and you get the text or call “you should come now” you get up and GO! Liana was awake and at UW Medical Center from Saturday evening until she gave birth to her baby girl. This mama was working all through the night. What we thought was going to be a long birth turned a corner and I got there just in time to say hello before she was wheeled into the OR. I am so glad I got there in time!
